I don't like the PS90 (civilian version), so I pick the next best thing: A Edgun Lelya .25. Mounted a SS-2 4x scope with Weaver mounts. Will be ordering flip up covers overseas since Bushwacker's are too expensive for a 30mm tube. IMO, this is the best looking Edgun has to offer. Ergonomic and superb fit and finish. The Leyla 2.0 is just not as pleasing to the eye. I'm sure there are improvements, but this is a functional piece of art.
Agreed!
It was the first of it's breed. We begged Ed to release it in .22 caliber, and then .25 caliber. It will never be replaced and should be considered a collector's item, as Ed stopped production of this model and the new version is just an Edgun Short. He should have left it as it was...a simple, single shot, super accurate, beautifully designed, little power house.
Sigh...Ed, you really screwed up on this one. You can't improve on perfection! The new Lelya is a mid-lever, repeating dog....

Guess I don't get it. To me, all these PCP bullpups look like staplers. I'm sure they are efficient and handle well, but is it just me, or do these things not look like guns at all? I'm old school, and the rifle in my collection that I am most proud of is a pre-war Haenel model III. Long, elegant, underpowered, understressed, and simple. Steel, hide and timber. No muss, no fuss. I'm happy that you are happy about this rifle, but my boat just does not float on the same tide.
I agree with JiminPGH about bullpups. I like rifles more along the line of an AA S400, S500, Daystate Huntsman Regal or any of the Beeman R rifles. However I must say that if I ever wanted a bullpup I would want it to look like the one that Citizin K has. I do like that design and love the wood. I am left handed and have not seen many left handed bullpups and that would present a problem for me.
I know that AUGs and FAMAs have been around since the 70s, so really edgun is late to the game. I'll never forget when Edgun hit the scene with those videos of Russians picking off crows in, uh, not ideal hunting environments (hunting crows in the city). This meant all I needed was an Edgun and a sunroof to start my own candid camera of the same in the states. After some thought, I'd probably get in so much trouble either uploading or getting caught in the parking lot, the adventure wouldn't be worth it. However, I have been guilty thinking about it many times over.
It’s so ugly it’s cute! It’s not my “thing” but I love that it’s out there and that they have those whose “thing” it is. If I shot one, I might be singing a different tune. I love shooting. I love shooting air even more. If it shoots air I love it so.... I love it! Thanks for sharing. I have a bull pup coming soon. It says estimated delivery on the 3rd. I sure hope that is a correct delivery date.

I concur , I understand people groove with different things but PCP does nothing for me, I get it they are accurate shoot long distance so on, Maybe fun, but I need a rifle that looks feels & smells like one not simulates one.
I need that mechanical clicking of the seer engaging with the piston as it is cocked manually .
I do appreciate some of the PCP rifles that look like they fell off a space ship some so designed it boggles the mind and the ones that have that wood and rifle look but
I could never understand what anyone saw in a gun that looks like that, I figured if that floats someones boat then so be it.
