well about all i can do is point you too the reviews at PA and what i see is it might like to jam with the 30 round mag and it sucks up co2 fast

some reading for you and there is a mixed bag of posts and i assume this is the pistol

@marflow thank you so much. I'll definitely take a look at the info.

In your personal opinion, since my goal is to just shoot targets in the backyard for fun, do you have any suggestions as to a good pellet gun? It doesn't have to be co2 necessarily, the only thing I don't want is to have to pump it with each pellet, a magazine would be preferable. And it would be nice if it had some weight to it for a more realistic feel but that's not imperative.

I've been doing a lot of research but there's so many options that for a new enthusiast like me, it becomes a little daunting to decide on.

Have a good day 🙂

I have one, magazines are a minor pain to load, little plastic links that have to make two turns at the ends so they function as an endless belt.  Horrible trigger, Mine shoots a bit to the left, probably me pushing due to long scratchy trigger.  I'll keep it around so my grandson can shoot it. In the meantime I have on order a HW75, a single stroke pneumatic, single shot known for accuracy and excellent trigger, at about 5x the price, you get what you pay for.

so budget can be a factor, the pistol you were looking at was about 100 bucks plus shipping

a Diana Chaser could fit your needs, not a replica gun by any means but they will take a mag, co2, and are a good all around pistol

i have done much work on my Chaser's and if you got the kit you get the rifle barrel to boot

all single shoot pneumatics are just that and i don't know of a multi shot, multi pump pistol

so you have co2 and high pressure air, PCP, and it might be a little early for the PCP

most replica pistols have poor triggers and there sights can be fixed in nature and that can be problem

now the pistol mentioned above, the Weihrauch HW 75 is a superb pistol but single shot, i have a couple of them

so that's where i am, price point what it will do, the Diana Chaser could be a very good option

as stated i have made 2 custom Chasers and have completely rebuild my 4 chases triggers to almost target quality, with only 1.5mm of trigger movement so for the tinkerer they can be improved

about all i have, message me if you have other questions

take care

mike
