I realize this rifle is more mundane than those frequently discussed here but figured I would give it a shot.

I am finding that I must press pellets all the way into the magazine when loading.  If I simply leave them flush at the back of the mag, they fall out when I am trying to insert the mag in the rifle.  Once loaded, the pellets that are not fully seated may come loose inside as I move the rifle around.

Anyone had this experience?

I have been using a ball point pen to insert them fully but this is a pain.  Any better solutions?

I am using Crosman Premier Hollowpoints so far.

I also find the mag difficult to remove, any tips or tricks on this?

Thanks for any suggestions.

So far I like the rifle.  I put an inexpensive red dot on it and can group in a dime at 20 feet or so (typical pest range for me)

Double action is a bear but single action is not too bad.

Thanks for any comments.

I use the cap off a Pell oil tube.

Thanks for the comments.

The Ruger was a bit of an impulse buy but I do enjoy it.

Will have to try the pellgun oil cap trick.  May just try crafting something to press a full magazine in one shot
