Took his springer class in the mid 2000s. Stand up guy, down to earth, had a wealth of knowledge, and a great teacher. I know he was in failing health for a long time.

I never met him but we did chat on the phone several times. My Diana 60T and an FWB 300 that he rebuilt many years ago are still flawless performers, too.

The air pistol in question is a Tell model 3
it was sent to him in Oct 2015. He did not respond to inquiries regarding status of repairs.
Sorry to hear that. Many years ago he reblued and tuned my FWB 124. Took him a long time to get it done, but it was sweet work!
I took his NRA spring gun repair course at Trinidad Collage in Trinidad Colorado in 2004 or 05. He was a very cool guy and great instructor.
Among the many things learned that week was how to bend barrels with having to whack then against something. I am sure the Goddess Diana has allowed him in to her inner-circle. Rest in peace fellow lead slinger.

@wvk I'm in the same boat with a anschutz lg 380. I had someone stop by his old residence about a month ago before I had heard he past and it looked like no one was living there. Let me know if you get any luck. I've reached out to the local city to see if any will is in probate to get the executor but so far no luck. There are a few names listed on his obit but his funeral was today so wanted to give them some space before I tried reaching out on social media.

@kitten981 Hi, sorry for your loss. As outlined above i sent your father a Tell Model 3 in for repair 10/2015. He called me when he received the pistol sent a receipt shortly thereafter. I contacted his brother, your uncle who looked around and did not se it.
