So, after inquiring a while back on the Yellow about Rapid70, I got great feedback so I went ahead and placed an order. Sent him a PayPal payment on Jan 22 and was expecting some sort of acknowledgement. You know, a confirmation of my order, an estimated wait time, a shipping notification...Anything! However as of today I'm two weeks out without so much as an email from this guy. I've sent him two emails since placing my order but so far, nothing. I expressed my concern on the Yellow a few days into it and was encouraged to hear that others had had similar experiences but that all had received their orders promptly (within two weeks).
I should point out that it took Mr. Francisco Javier Aliste Mate a few weeks to answer my original inquiry as to whether he was still producing these kits way back when I decided to look into it so it's apparent that he's not exactly "Rapid".
My question is this...At what point should I open a dispute with PayPal? I'd imagine that a notification of a pending dispute might get his attention however I don't wish to be viewed as an impatient American. LOL!
I'm thinking one more week but I'm also concerned that if I wait too long it may be harder for me to get my money back.
What sayeth the forum???
