It all depends what you want to do with the guns and what scopes you like.
If you are a plinker, that is happy with airgun rated scopes, then solid mounts will do you good. Degrease everything, then lube ONLY the threads of the screws and install. If the gun, the mounts, the pellet and the shooter are up to the task, minute of squirrel head or RedBull can are achievable.
If you want much more, then I would suggest you consider a DIANA Bullseye ZR Mount. They work much better than DAMPA mounts and you can even use non-airgun rated scopes in them. As long as you do not shoot 30,000 rounds a year through that gun, they should last as issued for some seasons. If you shoot a LOT through a single gun, then you might consider getting the Accurized version that has the capability of taking up the wear normal to any set of parts that move.
Keep well and shoot straight!

BKL 260 droop or non-droop is the answer. I've tried many, and this is the go to mount for anything that is an Beeman R1 or higher. I even used one of those Beeman sportsmatch 5040's (with a pin underneath) on a Kodiak. Still could not hold. Then the 260's came out and answered all of my prayers. Tried one of those MAC1 drooper mounts - it came off the gun so fast it would your head spin. I do have a b-square mount on an RX-1 that has held up for 20 years. However, that is the exception.
Probably discontinued a long time ago:
Stay with the 260. It is far superior.
HM so is a basic bullseye zr mount from PA a good start? Meaning that since I don't shoot 30,000rds a year?
Yup!
You may want to buy a lubricant that is called "Liquid Bearings" and lube the steel to aluminum interfaces LIGHTLY.
But as issued, the 3rd generation are good for most purposes.
