Yesterday I was shooting my pro-sport and I remember reading about barrel harmonics so I took the end cap off and move all 5 baffles right up to the bottom of the end cap. Took 5 shots and moved it a quarter of an inch all the way to the muzzle. Well I really took 10 shots. 5 with the sticks at the stock screws and the other 5 under where the scope starts to angle down to the 30mm tube. Well i looked at the results and 1 inch from the end cap with sticks at stick screws produced the best results. It was only 3/8" from the factory placement of baffles but noticeably different and better grouping. Oh yeah, and cold bore first shot is dead on. Not it's usual needing 5 shots to warm up
an AA ProSport? I have a 2018 AA ProSport and it has no "removable" end cap...?...the baffles are an interference fit with no "adjustment feature".
you could manufacture a spacer to secure your baffles in their most accurate position but it may require experimenting with pellet size/shape as related to baffle location and internal bore diameter to net best results.
Well my Pro Sport with purchased last year was the year before and I use a hanger with a small hook on the end and I insert into the end cap and pull it out then I do the same thing with the baffles they look just like the end cat but a grayish type of thing plastic. So I don't know about you and your proof port I'm just stating what is with mine
