A while back I purchased a HW 80 in22 cal from AOA This is the long barrel model with a 19 inch barrel. I installed a J.M kit and the rifle is a gem. The rifle takes one back to the glory days of airguning.
I installed an old Beeman peep with knob adjustments and the rifle in a one holer at 35 yards. Todays PCP just don't do it for me, give me an old school springer anyday. The J.M kit makes all the difference in the shot cycle. I am so very pleased, I just had to rant.

I have 3 PCP's but those are pest wrecking tools. I'm more likely to grab one of the 20ish springers sitting here first since they'll wreck most pests just as well...lol.

I try to in between doing whatever needs done for the almost 85 yr old father I live with. Just picked up a lightly used Beeman R7 .177 from a member on another forum I'm working on setting up to teach the gf to shoot with. She's overdue to learn how and it's just the right rifle to start her with. Also doesn't hurt I got a real nice deal on it 🙂

Good on ya Steve for taking care of you Dad, not to many do that today. I lost both of my parents and not a day goes by I don't think of them. You have a lucky girl too !!

I'm the lucky one. She encourages my addiction and has bought me a couple rifles now, one of those being a Huntington Beach Beeman R7 .20 caliber. She's also my spotter on occasion and points out squirrels for me to play with. I like tossing them pellets to see if they can catch them...lol.
