Just got an Origin. My first PCP....topped it with a 4-16×40 Piney

So far its awesome....trying different pellets.....so far so good....

But I must be a tater head cause I've broken both 10 shot magazines.....I'm ordering more....but they seem pretty light and not very user friendly for my sausage fingers....

Is there a way to add a single shot platform, table, trough.....? Single shot loading is very touchy currently..

By the way its purpose is as small game pest control on our small fruit farm...

Interesting read. It is indeed the same....and simmaler issues.....I ordered 2 more today we'll see how it goes.......single shot loading currently is difficult.....

Gonna have a machinist friend make a loading table for it that fits in like the magazine currently does.

if you read enough forum you will read that air gun mags have a certain amount of problem

some more then other

also you will also read us shooter that have big fingers and mine being 70 years old, have more then a few problems loading mags or using a single shot tray

small pellets and old large finger is just a bad mix sometimes

it appears that the single shot tray would have to be loaded and reinserted each time which in it's self has a level of irritant

and if you are using it for pest control, well not good at all

well in any case good luck

I'm taking it by the machine shop tomorrow morning and he'll measure it for a tray....I believe that what I have in mind will be a drop in the groove close the bolt situation.....we'll see how it goes

I took it by the machine shop today and he measured it up....he'll get a tray build out of Aluminum that will slide out as necessary...I'll let you know how it works....

I shot a coon out to my currs early this morning and it did well.....the one shot that hit it was through and through....dead coon hit the dirt......(hit a limb twice)

Loading single shot is a huge pain currently......I won't use it if I'm stuck with this option

Also another issue I've found is that the hose from the pump is impracticality too short. Its difficult to learn up or find a place to lay it unless it's on the floor to fill it???

6" more house would make a world of convenience difference....12" more would be perfect...

Hose replacement should not be to hard to do or expensive?  I do know what your saying though. My hand pump has the same drawback. I don't use it anymore now that I have the compressor. When I lost 45 lbs and dropped to 100 lb weakling, I was just bouncing up and down anyway. Could not fill past 1500 psi to save my life. Quite comical really ?

Update... Still using the hand pump.... Still sucks.... Got a 75cfm tank coming

The gauntlet single shot tray works great in the Origin. Machine shop measured it... Promised to build a tray.... I'm still waiting..

I'm 20 mags in now..... They are stl failing periodically..... Benjamins work better than the umarex labeled ones but they fail so....

I would contact the dealer and manufacturer to have them replaced under warranty.
