This was waiting on me after arriving home from dropping off a couple guns with Dave Slade. I really like the looks of the stock on this one. Yes, Weihrauch has continued the gold stamping with this one as well. Included just for posting, is a pic the complete pump kit from Best Fittings. Pump kit was bubble packed excellently Haven't shot the gun and won't have time to chrony for a bit.

Question for gas ram owners: Is there a run in period for brand new rammers? Seems to me that maybe the seal needs to run in?

Edit: It did come with the obligatory extra front sight inserts and a nice comprehensive manual for the 90.

I know that after a proper rebuild there is a slight dieseling for the first 100 shots or so. I’ve never had a new one so I’m no help.

Congrats on the 90, Bo! That looks nice. You've had some decent luck with your HWs in the wood department, lol. I do like that checkering pattern, too. Looks good.

Never had a rammer but I would imagine that it would need a bit of a break-in period like a regular spring gun. The piston seal would need to settle in along with other bits just wearing in and getting acquainted with each other.

Have fun with it! (I know you will! ?)

Jim,

you were absolutely correct going back several months in my post regarding Rekord weight adjustment springs. My issue was that in order to make the weight adjuster screw fully engage the threads of the trigger cage, I couldn't get anything less than 1.5lbs + on the Lyman gage. You suggested lighter springs but I cited safety concerns. Fact is, to fully engage cage threads you DO need a lighter spring for less 2nd stage release. I was wro...wro...mistaken LOL Toward that end I found a supplier with many different weights. Haven't installed them yet in any of my 5 polished Rekords but I'm confident one of these 2 will work. On the outside of the bags is a standard Weihrauch spring for reference. Wire diameter is slightly less on both bagged springs. Neither feel quite as stout as the OEM.

Late in saying so, Thank you. Did I just go OT on the OP? ?

Hey, even if it doesn't do anything different than your .22 it's still quite a looker! That right there would be enough to make it a keeper to me. ? ?
