Bought the rifle new 5 years ago when AoA was selling the standard versions for $299.99. Debated on and off getting a better stock, then came across this gentleman's website 6 months or so ago. Money finally saved, I sent him an email asking if it could be made in the color I really wanted. His reply was yes, as soon as his new shipment of blanks got delivered.

Got an email 2 weeks later saying he had them and to ask if I was still interested and I said Yep, send me an invoice. We traded a few more as he needed to know the sizes of my stock screws and just about 2 weeks ago, it finally showed up at my door. While I know there are a few that would never pay this much for a gun stock, I'm not most and it checked the boxes for what I was looking for in a Laminated gun stock:

Laminated? Check

Color I really wanted? Check

Thumbhole? Check

Adjustable cheek riser? Check

Adjustable Buttpad? Check

Added the Hawke Airmax 4-12x40 AO scope and BKL-263 S matte finish rings I got for it along with stainless steel front stock screw hardware and now have the Laminated HW95 I was picturing in my head 🙂

The stock was made by Craftsman Vit ( @craftsman-vit ) and if you haven't heard of him, his website is here: https://craftsmanvit.com/ First one he's ever made in the color and because it was, he also used a picture of it to advertise he now makes them in the color on his website.

The before and after pics because this definitely happened and as far as I'm concerned, money very well spent 🙂

Actually never considered a silver muzzle break just because, although not the greatest with open sights, they've been left on every gun I own tha has them and sighted in before I mount a scope. May never need them but they're there just in case 🙂

Not my action in that Craftsman Vit picture so other than it's an HW98, not a clue if it's just the light or he really has a nickel plated 98...lol.

Nice stock! The thumb holes are the bomb. BTW, what was the price tag on it?

$499.99 delivered to my door all the way from his shop in the Ukraine. Considering all the hardware for the adjustable cheek riser and what appears to be a Rowan adjustable buttpad? I thought it was a great deal for a custom made stock. Click the link in my original post if you want to see everything he makes.
