Just received and find it simply outstanding optically with typical Leupold build quality. New Rimfire MOA reticle is fine enough for targets yet sufficiently visible for hunting/plinking. 1/4 minute clicks on 15 MOA turrets. Flat matte finish gives no glare or reflections. 11.1 ounces and 11 1/8" long with a comfortable and non-critical 4" eye relief. Ring locking objective bell (the best kind).
This will be going on my .177 Vulcan for "field" work.

Andy,
That's a great looking scope at a fair price; thanks for posting about it! I wasn't able to find it's parallax setting on the Leupold site. I'm guessing 50 or perhaps 25 yards? Does the paperwork that came with yours mention the parallax setting?
Thanks!
Joe
Hi Joe -
60 yards is the norm for Leupy RF scopes, and this one pretty much follows suit. The view through this model is noticeably better than the 3-9 EFR I have when set at 60, so I'm very pleased with it.
Good deal - thanks for confirming!
New Leupy on my super accurate .177 Vulcan. Perfect field rig!

That does look nice. I wonder if they are springer rated. A close look at your pic seems as though the bell says 33mm while the specs online say 40mm. Specs say 11 ounces which would be light for 40mm. Maybe specs online refer to OD of bell. 33 is just fine anyhow.
This is the 2-7x33, and it actually weighs 11.1 ounces. There is also a 3-9x40 as well as others.
