Hey guys! Here is a review of the $199 PCP target pistol from Mrod Air otherwise known as the SPA Artemis P700. This .177 precision pistol surprised me. See why in this Air Max pistol review video. Thanks for watching! -Nate
Too cool...! Been waiting on this one. I downplayed my tuning efforts on this gun when we spoke on the phone as I wanted your thoughts on how I did on it. Just a little fiddling here and there with it and figure I had it pretty well good to go. Appears I did... 🙂
No, the trigger wasnt like that out of the box, but was easily adjusted.
As to the stock, that was a OEM stock from an M10. I have three of them. One I converted to .30, one to .35 and one to .25 and later changed it out to shoot arrows. Fun guns to tinker with for sure.
Thanks for the review. Was great to see my efforts appreciated and now immortalized on the 'net!
@rob-in-nc
.35? Did you bore the breech out to fit that caliber? I have done a .25 conversion and there wasn't a whole lot of meat left on the barrel to fit the OEM breech.
No, sir... If I recall correctly, the OEM barrel is 16mm, and so was easy enough to find a barrel that diameter in .30 and .35. I needed to make a sleeve over the bolt probe for the .35... with the .30, I had purchased a ready made bolt from a forum member.
That, along with a different spring and some added hammer weight was about it.
