@dualmagmike Your 55T looks a bit like one that I used to own.  Slightly different barrel sleeves, though.  That, and a previous owner had replaced the butt pad.

@fourrings most of the 55's I have seen have the same look although it looks like the older one's had the checkering that ended in a "v" pattern on the forearm. I hope the one you "had" was not a Beeman or altered beyond the recoil pad as there were only 25 produced!

@fourrings yup that's an oldie (recoil pad, diopter, front sight and checkering)

The 380 RT was particularly nice.  And incredibly rare too!  The 75 was a bit of a disappointment.  I really like the elegant complexity of the Diana, and the metal work was nice.  But, the quality of the stock was just not up to that standard set by FWB or the Annie.

Just for fun, here's another a couple more that I no longer own.  Super accurate, but I just couldn't love them the way that I do springers.

@fourrings Not a SSP guy either, I did just close on this Diana 75 HV. Should be here next week, it'll be friends with my 75 B.

Just curious; does your HV have the Diana (rifle, bow and arrow) logo, or the RWS logo?

@dualmagmike

I'm not a collector and too late for me to start now. I can't help but think that with all you have and know about your collection and other guns, perhaps a publication is in order? You have something for everyone in the ones you have shown thus far. As for the ones you may not have maybe others could donate info for credits? Thinking sonnysan would have some to offer as well as many others on here and elsewhere. I would buy it! Too much history too pass on. I'm not thinking of a $value type book, rather a full color historical tour from and end users perspective.

Just my 1.5 cent worth.

Respectfully,

Bo

@straitflite Thanks for the thought/compliment and it's NEVER too late to start a collection if you want one. I have thought and have been asked numerous times for at least a Youtube channel but nothing..... yet 😉

@straitfliteH - I have A Diana 75 HV LH, it’s from 1977 & it has the Diana logo with Gun / Arrow & Bow on it. Hope that helps with your questions.

Another nice rifle - I do remember RWS putting there name on a bunch of guns back in the day - FX and Careers - as well.

RWS and Diana logos.  The RWS logo is from a 75 RT, the Diana logo from a 75 U.

Here's mine. The U (?) is on the right.  Edit: Note that it's not marked U, but has the same stock w/adj. cheek riser as the post on

thumbnail (12)

I asked the seller of that HV if it had the goddess, but they never responded to my inquiry.  Which is probably a good thing, since Mike was interested in it 😀
