Saw this gun on Mike's website years before it was available on the used market. Eventually purchased it, then uploaded them on snapfish in 2008. Just received a reminder today to buy photos from snapfish to keep hosting these photos there. Had no idea they still existed. Do not remember the caliber of the rifle, or it was tuned (most likely). Still have the gun somewhere. Never shot it!

I just bought an Eliminator from Mike a couple of weeks ago.
By the way, it's spelled Abernethy.

That R9 is one of my MA favorite style. Here's my MA Mk111 TX in .177. My only under lever.
I was talking to Mike last night, few know that he sold his stocks world wide! He actually made a special stock for the owner of Air Arms son.

Found this thread on Mike Abernethy stocks... I was wondering if he was still doing stocks ? also what he has been up to ?
I own a couple of his stocks...one he made for me years ago for my HW95TK, and one that came with my TX200 that I bought used.
@jim-bentley Yep... always liked Mike... and the good old "Anything Goes" with Jim Maccari... no wonder I love airguns !
I don't remember if anyone did custom R7 stocks, but I would definitely be interested in one... it's such a pleasant air rifle to shoot !
It's great to see a post about Mike's stocks. He was great to work with, and did really nice work. Here's a couple of examples of his work. I still have the 97, but sold the TX years ago.

Thanks. Had it done up by Scott Blair. Unfortunately, I traded it for an SLR98 with a Leupy 3-9×40. But the fellow who got it absolutely loves it. Maybe Mike will make me another someday.
@kingfisher I'm not sure if Mike is still doing stocks... if he is, I would have him make me a nice R7 stock too... for sure !
Unfortunately, Mike doesn't know, when if ever, he will make stocks again.

@airmojo,,totally agree. Mike called me today, I was at work so had to cut it short. He made a custom R1 stock for me.
