This is a special pre-production version of the new Macavity Arms MA2 Sniper PCP rifle in .22 caliber. This new company really knows their stuff. Almost like they are actual PCP shooters themselves! (All calibers are tuned to shoot JSB at 890 FPS). Available in .177-.30 cal. Regulated, accurate, lightweight, and just $444! Full review here:
Thanks for watching! -Nate
it is an interesting rifle and i have seen several reviews but not one mention that this rifle appears to be made by Snowpeak and just branded with Macavity Arms
I don't think it's made by snow peak. I think it's Made in the USA by Americans. I have heard many new rifles called rebranded snow peaks. Wierd trend.
I don't think it's manufactured in the USA, if it was they would be be sure to advertise that fact because it adds a tremendous amount of cachet (with a concomitant price too). Instead they are very coy about its origin on their website.
Agree with Marflow, it does look very Snowpeak - who will OEM and slap whatever name you want on the product for anybody with enough money.
@jonny_ordinary. hmmm... who are these Snowpeak people? Are they mythical beings?...or what is thier claim to fame? Anything I would recognize?
For real you do not know who Shaoxing/SPA/Artemis/Snowpeak are?

One of, if not the largest airgun manufacturers by volume in the world. Many recognized brand names in the airgun world use them to OEM models for them.
@jonny_ordinary... oh yes. I know Artemis..I have tried a couple of thier guns without success. From my experience they would not be able to make a quality PCP. I did get a couple of the M guns too. The M40 I think and M25? They did not "qualify" to film reviews on. One was broken when it arrived. I also tried to do a video on an Artemis with Krale. The barrel was super chewed up on the end, also it did not hold air. So I just don't know if those guys could make a gun like the MA2. That thing was solid.
i can't believe you would ask who Snowpeak
they make the Chaser, the Bandit, the Airbug, the new P-5, the Stormrider, the Trailscout and that is for Diana
the Drangonfly looks to be Snowpeak also
and with the cost of this rifle it would hard to believe a new company that doesn't even have a complete web page could build a gun themselves
what state is it made in
Snowpeak has the ability to plug and play their product but their in trigger safety is just like a Chaser
Indeed, it was Made in China ... Guaranteed against defects with a 3 year warranty by the Americans.
Nowdays being Made in China is not a bad thing. China is the world's leading country in manufacturing tech. They have making products like PCP rifles mastered by now.

...so wierd. Why doesn't Diana make thier own guns? The XR200 was a little dissapointing. Maybe that's why. It could have used more power and a little more accuracy.
