Wasn't expecting the polarized reviewshttps://www.yelp.com/biz/mac-1-airgun-distributors-signal-hill
I bought an LD pistol from him and it was a sweet shooter. I ended up trading it towards another airgun (can't remember which one now), so I no longer have it. I'm thinking this was probably around 20 years ago. I remember Tim (Mac 1) and his friend Larry (LD) would post on a forum that, if I recall correctly, was called Hardcore Airgun talk or something similar. I tried to find it and nothing comes up in searches. I didn't think it would still be there since this was a couple of decades ago. Anyway, it was an interesting forum with lots of opinions. But yeah, I recently checked out his site and I'm not sure if it's still active.
@jcb2 That airgun forum might have been the one that Jim Maccari started years ago called "Anything Goes" when he got banned from the Gaylord's Airgun Letter forum, along with a bunch of other "knuckleheads" who had pretty good sense of humors !
I think it might have been renamed a couple of times after Jim gave up the Delphi forum... but he had a couple other airgun forums over the years, but not anymore.
@jcb2 The Yellow Forum came after the Airgun Letter, and Anything Goes (which was a Delphi forum)... those guys were a lot of fun, and enjoyed getting banned !
LD still has a Delphi forum, mainly for his local airgun field targets... I think even LD may have mellowed out over the years !
Oh yea, I remember the Airgun Letter. I was on it before the Yellow Forum. I got flamed a couple of times on Anything goes, but that was the price of admission and I enjoyed reading Tim & LD's posts, along with RC (I believe his name was Roland Cannon). Btw, I "think" Hardcore Airgun talk was a sub-forum of Anything goes. I know they had a few categories. Anyway, I enjoyed the forum back then, but eventually drifted away due to work and other obligations taking up my time.
