Friends,
I'm looking to set up my next project/air gun with a very low scope mount (1.5 inches or less from center line of barrel to center line of scope). Currently, the main gun I've found that shows the greatest promise for a low mount is the KalibrGun Cricket mini carbine as the rail sits right on top of the action/shroud. With the mini carbine I wonder if eye relief would be an issue.
For comparison, I have a Taipan Veteran .25 with a 2" and a Bantam Hi Lite .22 with a 1.63" scope height.
Any other airgun suggestions?
Thanks!
Joe
Joe I also prefer medium to low mounts. For my hold and face I generally get a better weld with lower mounts. High are unstable for a weld for me. Anyway another perspective is adjustable comb on the stock. Naturally that can really tune in cheek to scope comfort and stability.
terry - agreed! I'm still on the fence but am looking at the HW 100 carbine as a possibility.
