Hi folks!
I just picked up an RWS Diana 34 T06 classic - looks to be a 2016 year model. It was dry, had hardly been shot, apparently never lubed, and has  some very light rust showing.
I would like to transform this 'forgotten' rifle into a great rifle. So, I'm looking for recommendations for a good 'Tuner' or air rifle artisan who can make this one 'sing'. I'm not looking for high power (12 to 15 FTE is plenty), but am looking for sweet/fast shot cycle, and easy to achieve accuracy.
Got any recommendations?  Preferably in the Fort Myers FL area (LOL).

Thanks!

Try Davis Slade. He is about as good as you can get. Here is a link to his business.

I believe the above poster meant David not Davis! But he has been known to be an excellent tuner.

Motorhead (Scott Schnieder) is a fantastic tuner (and amazing shot) as well, he recently posted the highest overall score at the 2017 AAFTA Nats.

I can't speak for the others but John in Pa has tuned 8-10 of my break barrels and I have always been pleased with his prices and work.  Brian

David Slade is the man. Hope you have other guns to play with for a while. Expect at least a 4 week turn around. It will be well worth the wait. I still have a s@#t eating grin on my face for the job he did on my FWB 124d. Jsb 8.4 @ 860. Just a pleasure to shoot and 18 lbs to cock.

Thanks for the spelling glitch. Fat fingers. It should have been David Slade. And I too am VERY pleased with my 124. JSB & AA  8.4 @ over 840 and a lot more accurate than I am. Have had many 1/4" groups @ 30 yds.

Good luck and just enjoy your "toy" when you get it back.

Gun is packed up and on it's way to David at Airgunwerks.  Probably 6 or 7 weeks until the work is done. I'll update the thread once it returns, and let all'y'all know how it shoots!

Thanks all, for your recommendations. Much appreciate your input.

-Mark.

If he does that sort of thing, you might consider asking for a new butt pad. I just put one on my Diana 34 a few days ago and what a difference. I got a Pachmayr F250. Far better than the stock plastic one. With the rubber pad, the butt of the gun fits solid against my shoulder. It ain't moving plus you get a little cushioning on the initial recoil.
