Where should I send a Walther LGR that needs to be resealed/serviced and a Webley senior with a broken spring in the cocking linkage (blued model built prior to roll pins)?  Also, I have a Williams peep sight that is stamped on the bottom BPA S82.  I am assuming that it is a Beeman model but it doesn’t fit anything that I own.  Thanks

https://www.airgunspares.com/gunspares/airgun-spares/walther/lgr.html

so the reason i'm showing you parts pages is you may have to supply the parts when you find a smith to work on one or both of your guns

the sight is a Williams/Beeman sight and was model 5822 in the Beeman catalog

Cat. Number 5822

Instantly fits air rifles with  built-in scope grooves.{FWB, Beeman, HW, Hy-score, El Gamo, old and new Webley, Winchester, RWS, Geco Sharp, Marksman, BSA, BSF, etc}

copied out of catalog edition 22

i little more

i hope this helps a little

Your Walther LGR can be serviced either by Pilkington or Champion's Choice.  CC did one for me, and their work was not cheap, but impeccable.

Dumb question. Is the Walther LGR in need of more than a just breech seals and just lubing the dry pump seal that you can replace and do on your own without having to pay to ship the gun out?

Is your breech popping up when shot?

i did post a detailed rebuild thread above and i looked at some yesterday

but looking more deeply at it today that rifle would turn into a basket case in the wrong hands and i can see why it a costly rebuild

i've rebuilt a FWB 90 once and Diana 6's but i wouldn't touch that rifle, there are too many tricks you would not know

his Webley on the other hand could be an easy fix

Thanks for the advice and info.  The LGR doesn’t hold air when cocked.  I can hear it leaking out the barrel.  On the Webley cocking linkage, I am unable to drive the pin out with a punch. As you point out, it is a lot easier to disassemble than reassemble.  Also, I don’t want to be responsible for damaging two classic airgun?.

Thanks for the tutorials.  I have the parts but don’t want to mess with the LGR and I am unable to drive out the pin in the Webley cocking linkage.

The Williams sight has a fixed dovetail on the underside of the bridge with a set screw.  It doesn’t fit any of my HWs including a vintage HW35.
