I mostly shoot small caliber springers at short range (40-50m) and because I do only that, I am getting better. Now I'm building a nicer range and want to buy better quality reactive targets, not the $10 bent wire Crosman swingers. Nor field target type stuff that I have to pull strings or reset (I'm lazy).

Right now I have Action Armour Quadrant Target and a Shooting Targets7 8-swinger, both of which are excellent. Would like to find more of their quality or better.

What I want to avoid are targets that a .177 HW30 can't move. Some rimfire targets are too heavy or stiff. Any suggestions? Thank you

Steel Plinkers made a dueling tree for airguns that was adjustable for power levels.

Post a wanted ad on the classifieds and you might find one.

If you find two, I wouldn't mind adding one to my collection also.

Bell targets are cool... I have one that was made years ago by Frank Bobbio, but he quit making and selling them years ago, because there were too many idiots out there, probably shooting steel BB's at them... perfectly safe if shoot lead pellets and at a reasonable distance.

I made my own bell target from an old IBM bell (probably from a school) that is 6 inches in diameter (got two for $6)... got a piece of 1/4" thick steel angle iron that is 5" on one side and 3" on the other, plus various hardware from the local hardware store... I made two of them, and gave one to my brother.

Love the sound of a good ding ringing !

Here's photos of my Frank Bobbio target, and the one that I made shown at different angles... it is just sitting on the piece of wood for photos.

Mike E. at abctargets offers a 4-in-1 bell target for a reasonable price and if you keep an eye out for specials they run every so often their are even more price friendly.

I agree that a good Ding Ringing is very satisfying when you strike the bell 55yrds out with a springer.
