A follow up to a design I did awhile back, I wanted something that I could fit into my backpack and be easy to implement out in the woods. This mounts directly in place of the rear end cap and still allows easy access to the hammer preload. It will look sweet after it's anodized next.

Here is what it will look like with the improved buttplate and flat head screws. This version also has LOP adjustment via threaded mount with a castle nut arrangement.

Nice work!  That should make a fine little carbine.

If you guys would like one for yourself, feel free to PM me. They will be anodized and can be dyed black, red, and/or blue.

The external components can be powdered coated but the matting components will need to be anodized because of the closer fitting tolerances for the lockup to function properly and the threads. Controlling thickness on powder coating can be more tricky than anodizing.

Anodizing is a durable finish too and creates a hard outer shell on the surface and is also resistant to corrosion.
