KNOW YOUR SHERIDAN COVER 29 AUG 19 REV 0

Based on numerous requests for my long-out-of -print Sheridan book, last year I decided to publish an updated 2nd edition on Amazon.  It's available on Amazon in paperback and e-book. Just type the title or Ronald Elbe into Amazons Search. Converting a hard copy of my original book into a WORD document and publishing it turned out to be much more time-consuming than I had anticipated.  I didn't know whether it would be worthwhile or not.   It turns out that there are far more Sheridan fans than I expected.  Thanks to all of you who made my efforts worthwhile.   It appears that Sheridan's popularity will live on forever.

Ron Elbe

Hi Ron - Have the original. What is the nature of the updates. Am not much concerned with the new products - "CrosBenShers"

Also, you might want to post on the AVA. Lots of Dan fans.

JW652,

I'm not interested in the newer products either.  None are in the 2nd Edition.

The most significant new material in the 2nd Edition includes: detailed production quantity info on the left-handed Model Cs and Model Fs; a short summary about Silver Streak Salesman's Samples, a Model A Supergrade Owner's Manual, and a Sheridan Service Manual (not an owner's manual).  The 2nd Edition is also printed on white paper with much larger font which makes it easier to read.

Thanks for asking.

Ron

Just got my copy. dated 30 Sept 2019 and Made in the USA. This should be in every airgun nuts library. No more internet searching to figure out what Sheridan you have. Great job Ron, thank you.

Hey Ron I just ordered your book, I was wondering if you could give Me a rough estimate on how old it is. Serial #116642 if that helps, I just got it off ebay and it's in mint condition. Takes Me back to My youth in the 70's when I had the Blue streak I got from My parents to the Silver streak I bought Myself with hay bucking money.

Thanks for the memory jog. I had meant to order this some time back but other things got in the way and I forgot. But thanks to your post jogging my memory, my copy arrived with today's mail. I'm looking forward to going thru it. I have kind of flipped thru the pages and one things did catch my eye. It was about Sheridan's .22 rimfire pistol. I had no idea that they had even made a powder burner gun. So I'm looking forward to reading about that, along with all the other info in this edition.

This will make a fine companion to my 'old' model C rocker blue streak. I bought it new back in '82. I still have all the original the paper work (including the sales receipts!) and the color brochure that came with it. I even have a Sheridan Intermount that I bought at the same time. Still have the factory box, too.
