I wanted a .177 paper puncher with a high shot count per fill, cheap.

I found the Crosman ICON on Sportsman's Guide on clearance for $188, so I bought it.

From the video's I've watches it seems like 2250 on HPA, perfect for me.

Already ordered the hand pump and had ordered a Bug Buster for something else, but I will use it for the Icon now and look for another BB on discount.

I suppose this replaces the Maximus that replaced the Discovery? Let us know what you think, as it's always nice to have inexpensive pcp's to recomend.

I received the ICON last night. Came with a 2500PSI charge on it.  Without a moderator, it is NOT backyard friendly.  MOD is due today from Buck Rail.

Nice trigger, 3# with a solid predictable break.

Seems well made, can't wait to shoot it for accuracy and get it broken in.

I am happy so far.  Seems like $188 well spent.

Umarex Notos is still my favorite "Bang for the buck" PCP. Regulated, moderated and an accurate shooter.

Seneca Aspen is another affordable option with an onboard pump. Dealer had them on sale for $250. I picked one up in a .25 because I'm a sucker for a deal. 😀

Almost shocking how well it shoots.

Out of the box the ICON was shooting Crosman bulk pellets at 1040fps!  No wonder it was loud!!!

I backed it out to 750-ish.  Much better.

Hate the mag.
