Just received this one and it is the first "MADE IN ITALY" "PCP" airgun that I now own.

It feels kind of hefty and chunky and quality is first rate and when compared to my "CZ" Aeron Spider ACZ-101, this one "feels" like a better quality pistol. It feels heavier than the Spider as well.

Cocking is very much like the Aeron Spider with a lever to lift up to cock and open the bolt to load the pellet and pressing it back down closes the bolt while pushing the pellet probe home and pellet into the breech. Cocking effort is not as effortless as the Spider but is fine and shouldn't cause any fatigue when loading and shooting it all day long. There is a positive "snick" both times when cocking and when closing the lever.

It is pretty loud, just like the Beeman P17 and significantly louder than my Aeron Spider. Haven't adjusted the trigger but it is not as light as my Spider but is light enough, guessing around one pound. I'll probably adjust it down to 6-8oz if it is possible.

Took some shots and the sights are dead on and it feels as though it is shooting hotter than my Spider and there is some recoil (similar to my Spider) as well. The compensator obviously does not work on this one either. I was plinking at bottle caps from 15 to 35 yards with no problem.

I only tried RWS 7.0gr. BASIC Wadcutters so far.

If I am going to try to enjoy shooting this pistol, I am going to try to find an LDC that fits.

The (aftermarket IZH46M type) Weaver Picatinny barrel mounted scope adaptor does not obstruct the open sights and am going to think of what scope to use to see its full accuracy potential after I get it quiet since I really don't feel comfortable shooting this one with the level of noise this one makes.

For now, the Aeron Spider ACZ-101 is more fun for "me" to shoot.

More to come later...

A very wise and inciteful (not sic) man once said, "Powerful being a relative term, I find relatively-powerful ten-meter pistols of 5-6 foot-pounds great fun. They not only feel much less anemic than typical 3-4 foot-pound ten-meter pistols, but move into the realm of small game worthiness. Such a precision piece equipped with proper optics is an adequate tool for the extreme challenge of small game sniping. Offhand work beyond previous norms can be expected, virtue of some of the world’s finest triggers being standard equipment on ten-meter pistols."

The first three individuals to correctly identify that quote will receive a free gift.... braggin' rights!
