Having Owned 3 HW 40 Pistols and Still have one. Question is that the HW75 so much Better than HW 40 Pistol. I have a P1 and Love it and HW40 is Great but never had or Shot a HW 75 Pistol ! What do the Pro say ! I do know how much more Price difference is but That's  not the Issue ! Just want to have The Better Pistol ! Thanks !

there is a very small list of high quality SSP pistols that are not in a target pistol configuration

and the HW75 is one of them the other would more than likely be the FAS 604

I have a few P-1’s and a P-2 (HW75) it is A very  accurate easy shooting pistol.

I have had both.  The HW75 is heavier, but I couldn’t shoot it better.  Honestly I was blown away with either and would consider them beer can pistols.  Not many pistols do, however, I not long ago picked up a Crosman 1701p and a pump, holy smokes.  It is accurate, great trigger and a blast to shoot.

I do recall shooting a descent group with the HW 40 a few times.

Just my opinion, there is surprisingly little to choose between the HW 40 (P3) and HW 75 (P2) in terms of trigger action, accuracy, or power. But the HW 45 is such a great-feeling gun in the hand, such nice solid all-metal construction, good grips, and solid balance.

I've only shot a P2 once but instantly fell in love with it, and would love to own one. As marflow noted it's not quite a true match grade piece, but does a darn good imitation of one! 😀

I have had both and now have the HW75.  The 75 has more metal in it and is a nicer pistol made with less plastic however i was able to shoot the  HW40 much better than the HW75.  Both are good.  The 40 looks cheaper but shoots better (in my opinion).

I use the HW75 for outdoor HFT target competitions at my club in preference to the HW40. I cannot understand why it has a safety catch, as I believe it is designed for target shooting, no Truglo sights for example.  When I master the recoil, I will use an HW45, as it is able to produce more power.
