Utah Airguns is known for making some really trick accessories for the FX Impact. I picked up one of their double bottle holders for mine. It did add about a pound to it. What surprised me was how well it felt to off hand it. I thought the double bottles would feel weird but it actually gives a nice wide base for the palm of my hand. No need to keep the fill  tank in sight now. ?

Dear Pubic..

How many shots did the single bottle provide vs. the double bottle?  AA had a twin cylinder airgun but they were aluminum and did not seem to catch on...probably due to weight!

Right now shot increase seems to be going the 4500 psi full bottles.  However, here in rural Toad Suck, Arkansas, it is difficult to find such a compressor.  I thought about the $200/$300 Chinese mechanized hand pump conversions but they appear limited in performance and have a tendency to be quality questionable.  Seems like you get one that works, or one that doesn't work!  Still it's better than no compressor at all.

The juvenile side if me had to chuckle at the "Dear Pubic" ?  Close to Pluric. ?

I can't give you a straight answer right now. My Impact has three barrels so it's shot as a .22, .25 or .30. All suck air at different amounts. I was at the Extreme Benchrest in Arizona last week. The 50 yard challenge had three target sets and refilling the gun was not allowed. I was using a single tank as a .22 and was fine. Poor guy with a .22 Brocock  Compatto couldn't shoot the sighters for fear of running out of air. I like to go pesting and sometimes the activity is so good I need to stay by the air tank filling station. I'm hoping the twin tanks will give me better range for all day use. My pea brain assumes that two tanks will give me twice as many shots, no?

As far as your filling issue I've been there and done that. Bought one of the original Mrod Air twin cylinder compressors. Worked great for about two hours. There used to be more comment on them around here. Some very talented folks were able to all but remachine them and get some use. I gave up and bought a Bauer II Junior. Pricey but work great.

You might want to try one of these models. They have been getting reasonable reviews. I donated one to the EBR raffle because I thought it actually might work for someone.

With a little internet sniffing you will find many threads about them. This particular brand seems rated a little better. Well, good luck with your air quest.
