out of my RX2's gas ram. So now what? I should have just left well enough alone but in my opinion, my rx2 was charged fully to its max, shooting harsh, which isn't good and hard cocking. So I decided to unscrew the screw where the valve is and tapped it twice. Well twice was too much. So does anyone have a pump I can borrow or tell me how to build one? Thanks a bunch.

I don't know if what is described in the post is accurate or safe, and I don't know how hard it is to find the parts. But, it may get you started on your way:

a quick search for “rx2 pressure” yields a result of 24 bar as the suggested pressure. This is about 350 psi.
I noted where you have cross posted this to another forum and have received a suggested starting pressure of 750+ psi, please do not do this.
I used my Swedish pump to charge mine to about 20bar/300psi. It took less than 1/2 dozen strokes. Last I checked it was about 14ftlbs w/CPH’s

maybe the fellow on the other forum is charging his gun with the ram/gun cocked, dunno? I don’t know what the pressure is with the gun cocked with a rest/uncocked pressure of about 350psi.
With the adapter I use, depicted in the RAW link above, it does not actuate the schrader valve. It works by the pressure differential being higher on the pump side of the valve forcing the air into the ram. I have a newer gun and use the newer adapter, a couple bucks cheaper. I’m not sure when the transition from older type to newer type occurred, but for some reason think it was sometime in the mid ‘90’s, but really don’t know and haven’t searched. Please search.
The instruction sheet I received with my hand pump, purchased over 20 years ago, identified it as a Swedish pump. It looks a lot like the early FX pumps but predates FX proper I believe. May have been hand wrought by Phred hisself. I owned a Hill pump for about a year and parted company with it. Offhand, I believe that of the number of requests posted to the forums for parts, o-rings, and rebuild kits, there are five or more requests for Hill parts for every FX part request.
