I purchased the HW50 back in June. I shot the gun in stock form for a few weeks then started the tune process gradually working up the power along the way. The rifle arrived putting out 10.6 ft/lb with 7 grain pellets it was nice just a little weak. After five or six adjustments it is now a nice solid 12 plus ft/lb with 8.4 JSB pellets. The piston has been sleeved and buttoned and uses a JM Hornet seal carefully fit to the compression tube. The spring is a .125 wire cut to fit the gun in place of the factory spring along with custom guides. The stock is a JM Walnut unit in place of the factory stock it fits me well and is better suited for scope use than the factory stock. The mod is home built and works well. The scope is a Sightron STAC 3-16 30mm duplex reticle. The rings are Vortex on a Hawke droop adjustable base. The chrony numbers are pretty good... 828...824...824...824...811...823...827...821...821...822...815...826...825...830. The temp was 28F with a slight breeze as the targets will show all shot at 25 yds all 5 shot groups. The rifle shoots well with a nice shot cycle and is of a nice weight and points well, a nice handy rifle. I hope the pics show up I'm not to handy with the computer stuff. Thanks for looking...Doug
@josh3rd Thanks, the 50 is a nice in between kind of springer.

@marflow I use the X- ring tuner to off set the weight of the mod and tame the vibration of the smaller barrel OD. They work well on a couple of my springers for barrel tuning especially the thinner longer barrels. The more harmonic movement or vibration I can tame in a springer the better.

@limbshaker The wheel weights are used to bring the balance point back to the mid or slightly forward of the mid point of the rifle. The stock walls are to thin to go inside with weights so outside is all that is left.
