If you have a hand pump, pressurize the line until the check valve opens (the rifle begins to accept air). Then barely crack open the bleeder screw until the air just begins to hiss. It may take 10-15 minutes to bleed all the air. As the pressure falls, you may have to occasionally tweak the bleeder screw to keep the air coming out. Using the gauge on the pump, you can monitor your progress. Once you think all the air is out, there may still be 100-200psi left so before you disassemble, dry fire to make sure it's empty.
