Is anyone using a scope similar to the Hawke Airmax 30 SF 6-24 X 50? My question: At high magnification, is the image actually, really, clear?
I have one for sale that I was using on an AR-15 rifle that I no longer have that I was using in bench-rest matches. With it I could see .22 caliber holes in a white bench-rest target paper out to 300 yards.
I wish I could buy it. A Gamo 3 - 9 X 50 scope came with my rifle. It's merely just barely OK. I wish I had known more about rifles in general at the time I bought my springer. But, I do enjoy this rifle.
