What do you guys think?

Two now styles of locking breeches on break barrels.

Low cost PCPs

Lots of new high pressure Compressors

Action Pistol????

More Airgun Shows

More Big Bores and more states allowing airguns  for big game

It seems to be a good time to be an airgunner!

Good reporting BB. ? I always enjoy your articles.  Just a comment re: new compressors. I like the momentum toward affordable compressors, and it is a direction that will allow me to go to the dark side. The new Airforce E Pump compressor and the new field compressor by Crosman are of keen interest. So are some of the chinese versions. The question is always price vs. reliability. One of the chinese compressors can be purchased for $300 shipped, while the AF E Pump is $900. Most would opt for american made and assumed reliability. There are mixed reviews about reliability of the chinese pumps, but one could buy 3  versus 1 of the AF pumps. Just a thought. I think we all want our cake and eat it too. Lower prices on the PCP guns AND the compressors will eventually attract a whole lot more airgunners.

I was surprised that the AirForce compressor was $900.  I don't think the market will pay that much unless all the other options prove unreliable.  I think AirForce may have used the Shoe Box compressor's pricing as a comparable whcn coming up with their price.  I am not sure that the Shoe Box Compressor will be relevant in 2018 unless it undergoes major changes.

II agree, David. Shoebox is facing competitoon from above and below in price, with generally inferior performance. I took a chance on a Yong Heng at $350 shipped.
