I picked up a Gamo hunter sport .177 for $30 at my friend's pawn shop today. It's in very good condition. He let me test it in his back room and everything seems okay. There is no scope but have extras. I'll mount one in a few days.
Can anyone tell me about this gun. Haven't been able to find much on it. I will be doing a tune and rebuild. Can I covert it to a gas ram? Or where can I get seals and a spring for it?
so here is where you can get real part number and you can compare part numbers to see what parts cross over
there will be home work
as you might know Gamo USA do not sell any internal parts and even external parts, unless they have change
that Site in Spain is very nice to work with
well it look like it was liked

i quick look at the trigger i would think no Ram
I have an older Gamo Hunter 440 that I de-tuned to shoot a very comfortable 770 fps with 7.9 gr pellets. I removed the rear spring spacer, and replaced the factory spring with a JM square-section Merlin spring. I also replaced the trigger with an aftermarket GTX. Gamos tend to be over-sprung, but the older ones are very well made. Mine is a very pleasant all-day plinker.
