Hi boys and girls ! Does any body know, between gamo Gr magnum ( Springer) or gamo swarm magnum ( gas piston ) which has more power in .22 cal ? Both brand new, I am going to put this two rifles side by side and test them tonight and I should be able to upload it by tomorrow, meanwhile, let me know what you think and which one gonna win
Gamo ads say both have 33mm pistons, 1300fps, same trigger both weigh 6.88 lbs. They must recoil hard. Hard to say which will shoot harder. I prefer springers but not Gam repeaters. Had a Gen 1 which is now a single shot springer with a GRT trigger. I have a Proxima and Synergis under lever repeaters and a Mendoza RM2800 break barrel springer repeater. They work good.
@tim_ward my gamo Gr was 10 fps faster than gamo swarm magnum gen3i and the recoil was a little bit harder, that surprised me also the cocking effort for gamo swarm magnum felt more than 41 lbs , more like 55 lbs
