This is the PEGASSUS AUTO RACING (16mm x 1.00 thread) Banjo Bolt in all of it's bright red glory. They sell for $12 to $16 online. For months I've been searching for ANYTHING in the rare 16x1 size that I could fashion into a power adjuster. This fit the bill and actually works in the gun perfectly without any alteration, right down to the "spring cup" in the end which fits the FX spring almost perfectly.

The only problem is that this thing is VERY large and neon red wasn't my first color choice for an accessory on an all black gun. After turning the bolt head down to a round, knurled knob I decided it was still too long so I cut it down to a shorter length getting rid of the knob altogether. I touched up the spring cup more to my liking with a 5/8" round tipped burring tool and gave the whole thing a nice sanding, followed by a coat of semi gloss black. The stock alteration was done freehand with a Dremel and a 1/2" sanding drum...super easy. The Wildcat synthetic stock cut like butter and it's solid all the way through.

It wasn't totally necessary but I came back later and added a 10-24 nylon tipped set screw to lock the power adjustment in place.

With the HUMA adjustable regulator and this spring adjuster, getting the gun even more accurate and in "harmony" should be easier than ever!

Thanks fellas,

Glenn in Texas

The real answer might be as easy as emailing DonnyFL and asking him to have his machinist make a batch.... Lots of Wildcats out there (and other FX's that use the same adjuster).

Like you implied, I'm surprised no one has tapped this market. If they have, I haven't found it. My take is that the M16x1 thread is fairly common among FX spring adjusters. Even though FX does a great job on the factory adjustment, things change. Whether it's a new adjustable regulator, different ammo, nitrogen fills or what ever...guys will want to reset the spring adjustment.

Cheers,

Glenn in Texas
