Hi all. I haven't posted in awhile. I've been getting back into shooting my fx elite recently. Just curious how many of you out there own this cool rifle. I bought mine used from a guy south of Houston. I live north of there. It came in a synthetic non rubberized stock, unregulated with a 400cc bottle. I've been lucky enough to have two elites in my possession over the years. The other came regulated in a rubberized stock with a longer than normal st barrel. My question is does anybody really know how many were sold in the US and what were the options available when ordering. I didn't order either of mine new so I don't know how they were sold stock. Just curious if anyone has more info on the rifles history. Google has failed to produce any answers. Thanks all.

My understanding is there were 50-100 Elites made in total. Someone please correct me, but these were a rare bird.

the Elite section says 30 to 50

there was a series 1 and a series 2

This is my Elite.  There are no others like it.  It is my friend......

Elite BSA CF Bottle long

BSA .22 barrel with one of my CF HushMods.  Deadly accurate and oh so quiet!  The CF bottle reduces a lot of forward weight created by the 24" 16mm barrel and makes for a perfect balance.  You'll have to pry this one from my cold, dead hands!

I just put a more modern walnut stock on mine and a carbon fiber bottle. Curious if yours came regulated?

Not regulated and it doesn't need it!  Mine is unbelievably consistent for well over 100 shots per fill.  It loves JSB Jumbo Heavies (18.1gr / 2008 version).  Good thing I have a bunch on hand!

I'm the lucky 3rd owner of SN6008, .25 cal, regulated, now with synthetic & ambi walnut stocks. Believe mine was owned initially and used by Steve (Yellow) to compete at one of the first Extreme Bench Rest events and won a couple of prizes year it was introduced.  Later went to Scott DiCappio who almost lost it in a flood. Purchased the Elite from Scott in 2015.  Only thing that's gone wrong with it is the %^*&#$@ regulators leaking, repaired one when I got it and shot great after that, and then again 2 years later.  Will shortly be taking a trip to Ernest/Fx-USA for it's 1st complete overhaul. A unique piece I intend to keep and shoot for a long time! ?

the Elites are VERY unique as they might be the only sgl shot FX with interchangeable barrels, i have 4 different calibers with mine

making them the perfect gun for Field Target or benchrest

here is what mine looks like now for 12FPE LV Benchrest, w/ regulator and match trigger added

Yes that’s why I got it in the first place. I’ve got 4 barrels for mine so far. I’m currently using  a .177 LW barrel on it. Just to see what it can do. I’ve got the original ST barrel, another LW .25, and a .22 cal CZ barrel. Like I said mine has never been regulated and I’ve been more than happy with it. Replacing that plastic stock was a must though. It didn’t fit well. Had a little wobble to it.

Ok. Finally made it home. Looks like mine was in the same batch. Funny though mine says 220 bar. Strever yours says 200 bar.i guess that is why I'm looking into their history. Each rifle seems to be a little different. I'll have to find out the serial number on  the other elite which is now in a friends possession.
