Hi y’all! I’m moderately new to the airgun world and I’m looking into getting further into airgunning! I’m looking for a .177 cal rifled pellet pistol or rifle. I’m looking in between either a good PCP or C02 or Break barrel thumbhole stock guns. I’ve been looking at the Artemis PP750 or Air Venturi avenger and the Diana Magnum break barrel pistol as well as the C02 Air bug etc. I’m wanting something fun and accurate to shoot any recommendations that are a step up from the Walmart specials?

Knowing your budget and what kind of shooting you plan on doing would go quite the ways to help members make suggestions.

Going to be hard to find an introductory gun of any power plant with a thumbhole stock. I think I would look into a spring gun first-CO2 and PCP will have additional costs included before you can get started (tanks, pumps, CO2 cartridges etc..). A spring gun is ready to go right out of the box-just add pellets. The Diana gun you mentioned and the RWS line of guns (34 series) have always been good performers and maybe not so pellet picky since those are hard to find at the moment. Airguns of Arizona has a RWS3400 at $179.00 right now that might be worth looking at.

Have fun in your new sport!

@steve-corcoran Apologies for being vague! I want something either for 10 meter plinking like the Diana Air bug or magnum or The Benjamin Trail Mark II NP pistol and the Hatsan nitro piston pistol. Also am looking at rifles that can shoot decently at 60 yards or less.
