Thanks for the advice to go with Krale. Outstanding service (it helps I can read some Dutch-I didn't use the translator). No one in the states had the 97 in .22 so it worked out for the best. And I got the rifle in five days. Ordered it on a Monday, it was at the house the next Friday.
I finally took it to the range today (my midweek day off) and put about a hundred-ish rounds through it. All I had were RWS Super Hollow Points and Superdomes. I figured I'd settle the 97 in on the hollow points first and put around forty shots through it as I walked it to point of aim. (All I'm using for a scope is a Leapers 4x32 mil dot. Enough to see my shots at thirty five yards.) There's a little spring buzz but that may settle down once the spring kinks as the rifle breaks in.
Today's session made one thing abundantly clear to me. I am an unabashed airgunner. It won't take long shooting a firearm and I'll have my fill. Doesn't matter what it is. From the large cal stuff to my favorite rimfires. But put an airgun in my hands, give me enough pellets and time and I may forget I have other responsibilities to tend to that day.
I also need to give props to the owner of Del Tone shooting range. His name escapes me at the moment but he started DPMS. We used to see each other at certain... functions. A great range with awesome staff.

Thanks, but I can read Dutch pretty well.
