Nice rifle Jason! Here is mine. Sits just like this today. I have the scope mounted and the diopter off. Since I have the Anschutz, I usually keep that one set up with the diopter sights... it’s wearing a scope currently though. That may change tomorrow. I used the Anschütz for my offhand 10m shooter.
My, My, guys those are ALL in beautiful condition!! Have you restored them or kept them that nice? I have always thought that the 300 was one of if not the most beautiful rifles ever produced ! I'm a PCP shooter but if I ever try a springer this would be my first choice for sure!!!! Keep the pictures coming please!! J.L.
I was lucky to find this rare 300S nicknamed the 301. This is said to be one of two factory prototypes that were used to develope the Feinwerkbau 600 ssp. It has the 600 barrel and trigger ,the actual barrel being only about 13" long and is also choked. The first one was found by Jim E on the Yellow forum around 2005
its a strong shooter and one holes at 25 yards with a short barrel time. I've been shooting indoor silhoutte with this rifle ,and it produces the same scores as my Steyr LG 110
These are the very first 50 yards group that I shot with the 300. I had a blue ribbon scope on it at the time and the elevation was maxed out. I had to aim for the top edge of the steel to get the holdover correct to hit the targets. The scope was only 7x so that was a challenge also. These things will shoot at distance with the right conditions and pellets. I think these were shot with JSB 7.3 gr. Those are 1” targets for size reference. Look at the 3rd from left target.... 3 of this pellets were nearly the same hole! Yeah baby!!

Ya, I like that, and have read about those. Looks really good there on the wall, probably even better on mine ?
If you decide you don't want it, don't throw it in the creek, send me a note.....
what a nice kid and he will never forget shooting with you. I have 2 FWB 300 one with a scope and one with match sites. I cannot outshoot out to 50 yds the match sites with the scoped rifle. with the scope at 50 yds if you are looking for it actually see the pellet lob into the target. it is amazing a 10 meter gun can shoot tiny groups at 50 yds.
the FWB is PCP accurate and to me the best airgun ever made. the Germans defied the laws of physics having a spring gun shoot like that. I had an FWB 600 SSP and could not outshoot the 2 300's with it. My friend wanted it bad so he owns it now. I do not hunt and do not need any other airguns
