Thanks for your response.
Let me now rephrase my query by stating that I have had a few of the SIIISS10-50x60LRMD and they performed quite well after I reparallaxed them to 9.5yds. My question is to anyone with experience with both scopes:
What I’m trying to find out is if the FT version (referenced in my original post) is worth the extra coin or just buy the LRMD version for about $300 less? The sidewheel, lit reticle and scope enhancer isn’t appealing to me.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry I tend to be a wise guy so I limit my posting. I used the FTFIRMH for 3 years in open class with good results. I use the IR in every match as it gives me an aiming point to focus on. IR is very useful on the woods courses with summer foliage. I also have a regular LRMH model. It focuses down to about 11 yds on 40X which is usable as is for FT. The one I have has better glass than the three LRIRMH FT models I have. Non-IR is also lighter weight.
After 3 seasons of clicking my elevation turret got stiff, so after the nationals I sent it back to Sightron and they promptly serviced it. Apparently, something inside the turret came loose, but I am good to go now. Great customer service with Sightron.
Thanks for your response.

Thanks for your more detailed response....much appreciated. I have been searching but I have not been able to find a LRMH model....maybe discontinued. I guess I’ll be looking for the best deal on a FT model. Cheers!
Donovan,
Optics Planet has the LRIRMH, but it appears to cost a little more than the FT model. I have one, but use it for paper punching. I shoot HFT, so this scope is way more than what I need.
