Jim do you think they will hold up for X number of years, parts will never be available.
the rifle has good reviews.
will the cocking linkage hold up your thoughts?
and how do you like the single shot loader i have had my eye on them for my Chasers

I've had it since April and seems to be holding up just fine. I seldom exceed 5 pumps, and I'm pretty religious about keeping all the pivot points oiled.
I like the Carm loader a lot, and swap it between my Dragonfly, Plinkster and Chaser. After all, I can only shoot 1 at a time.
I agree about the rifle. I love mine too with Buckrail. I am not familiar with the single shot loaders you referred too. What are the advantages? Where does a guy buy them.
Thanks
the loader has you sliding in the pellet and pushing it down instead of fumbling around in the breech
the Crosman SSP250 used them but the pellet was launched from the loader, the Aeron model 4 Chameleon used the same system.
but the Chaser style guns you would just push the pellet home with the bolt out of the loader
it is a rotating single shot tray

maybe Jim can show us where he got his
i have been on the fence when it comes to 3D printed products but i have bought some lately and have been very impressed
got a Chaser grip frame that i have working on the options for grips, no that is not right i bought 3 frames i have 5 Chaser but i'm off topic sorry
You can purchase carm magazines and single loaders directly at this website: https://www.carm-magazines.com/
If you do, it takes about 3 to 4 weeks to get it here in the USA because the carm owner is loacated somewhere in the ex Jugoslavia region. so it has to go overseas and through the customs too. But when i purchased it, there was no problem at all, except the long waiting time.
I'm sorry i haven't had the privilege to own a Dragonfly 2 not yet. And i haven't researched what would fit it, but i would say from the things i know. It is my knowledge that the Breech should be like the first original Dragonfly, but i can't confirm that, so i think there would be the one for the SPA 900 so what Pumper be the right one. But take with a grain of salt, i haven't researched that. Maybe Jim can help here, because he already had purchased it. I would like to help you with the exact Modell for it, but that will be only a guess from my side. Hello Jim, please chime in here. LOL
Page 3 of magazines and loaders on the Carm website. Fits CP2, PR900, Artemis, SPA, SMK, Diana, Chaser, Bandit.
Thank you so much Jim for clearing that up. That helped a lot. So now we know.
I'm very much interested in the Dragonfly Mk II. So far what i heard about it, and by your (Jim-in-PGH)excellent statements about this rifle. It is on my shortlist on Airguns to get. I like Pumpers, but so far i have only a Daisy 880 and a Benjamin 392 S in .22 cal in mv stable, so this would be rounding it up pretty good.
@jim-in-pgh Thanks!
Jim .177 or .22 or both
Jim .177 or .22 or both
.177. Made the decision years ago to go single caliber. I do understand that MSP and CO2 are more efficient in .22, but I made my choice and haven't looked back.

I made the .177 decision too years ago. I go for the flatter trajectory. For hunting we can shoot JSB Monsters at 14.3 grain and be equal to .22 caliber.
Also I live in Illinois, we can only receive .177 caliber from retailers. Same for New Jersey. I know it's ridiculous.
Jim, I ordered the Carm loader on your recommendation. Waiting for delivery. I am curious about the suppressor. How do you like it? How much does it reduce the retort and do you notice the weight at the end of the barrel? Thanks for your input.
Expect at least 3-4 weeks for delivery, but it will eventually arrive, and worth the wait.Jim, I ordered the Carm loader on your recommendation. Waiting for delivery. The Buckrail suppressor is very effective at reducing the bark, and since it's plastic, I hardly notice it's there.
[Edit} FWIW, I was able to remove the factory suppressor from my Chaser barrel, with a little heat and a rubber strap wrench. Before I got my Buckrail(s), I would swap the factory suppressor between my Chaser, Plinkster, and Dragonfly. The factory suppressor is astoundingly efficient, making all three guns sound about like a stapler. The Buckrail is ever so slightly louder, but still very efficient, and a great value.
It is important to check and make sure the Buckrail is tight before shooting. It does get loose. Some guys recommend teflon plumbers tape. One guy talk about some kind of thicker plumbers tape. I am not familiar with a thicker tape.
If you are familiar with this thicker tape. Please post here wher to buy it and if you use it. TIA
@donc Maybe they were referring to the gas teflon tape:

In essence, it is a Teflon tape of 0.004" thickness.

I just bought one of the eBay single shot loaders from Marflow's post. $19.03 shipped, and it'll be here in a week. I really like the Carm loader, but the eBay one loads on the right side, which (hopefully) will be better for the Chaser, which has its bolt on the left side. I'll post pictures when it gets here.
