That I dont have.   Often I'll look hard at a rifle I know I dont like  but  think hhmm maybe I can make it better by changing it one way  or another.

sometimes I picture   a rifle with  stock dipped in that tank dip  thinking it would make it look alot better, or  I'll see one  in my mind all striped  and refinhsed  in a natural finish so the action  will pop.

I have parts coming  for one Iam  putting together,  two others still under project  and bunch of yet  to start project guns, and this rifle  is killing me because I dont have it.

dont need  it with my hurd,  but the addiction  is insane, It is definitely hard to gain  composer  when the air  gun itius bites again and again and again.

Scroll down to Picture below  and I already had this and the one in the green laminate stock but I left them go for some reason or another, probably to fund something else

Thats funny,I keep on being drawn to an HW77 in .20 and in a beech stock. Something about that look that speaks to my "Buy Now" finger.

Thanks Dean I think I will strip this  and finish  it  in natural so the action pops, that's how  I picture  it when I look  at it.

my first gun bought from Krale it was used and  will be interesting to see how fast  it gets  here, everyone says in three  days its at your door LOL

Mike, Mike, Mike,

Did you get the carbine or full length?  I had a K model in 22 with the old style stock.  Iron sights are less than desirable on this model, but scopes are good.  Not sure if I can dig the new forearm on these, I like my 97's more, let us know how it turns out.  Was it a good deal used?

?

Hi Jason

Shipping was 52. from Krale and that brought it up  to  394.00 , it's  the  carbine version  the one that I prefer on most  german springers.

Its  seriously insane  how much relief I felt knowing I grabbed it , I was  watching  youtube  videos  on  it and enjoying Bretts  video and some  others

Later on I'll get to see how the hw 77K  & 97K  and the LGU  compares but honestly even if  the LGU winds up being the  better it would not matter, air guns are a got to have got  to hold  and got  to look at and got to shoot  regardless , these are proven shooters  anyway.

Did  you wind  up  grabing this R 1 from Gun auction  for 342.00  it was a nice looking  gun

Mike,

I did not.  Think I am done with the 30mm window weights.  Great rifles I have owned many.  But by the time I get them shooting smoothly like I want, I am at 12 ft lbs.  What a waste for the extra weight, all the 26mm's will shoot that level easily.  With that being said I still get drawn to the R1?  I sold off all my .22's and ammo pile, just left are the .177's.

How you plan to tune that 77?

I have a goudy stock R 1 and was  going to sell it  till I picked it up and said hell no lol  the workmanship and quality build was too good to let go.

well my own custom spring guide & top hat , I was going to ask for input on the spring & set ups  for favorable  results.

usually I  begin  the process to find the sweet spot  and push  it a bit hoping I can still have  some power when I am done,

I like a rifles that has both but sometimes you have  to do what it takes to get a shooter to shoot like  it should.

Let me know your set up you liked that would give me a good start.

its hard for me to shoot a rifle  if it doesn't feel like Iam shooting , to docile turns me off

I set up all of mine with the ARH deluxe kits, they turned out real nice, easy to cock.  Never tried the Vortek hammer kit, but imagine springing one up just necessitates the need to pack a screwdriver on your walks.

Vortek I use  on hatsan  magnums and  a like  etc / Jm on  the nicer german guns  like the R 9  I'll use his hornet spring

I'll look into J M  spring he recommends you can't go wrong  with jm
