Does anyone know what the "+" has to offer over the "regular" 210?  I can't seem to find any information.  Thank you.

there a LG 210 and a LG210 junior

the 210 was 11.5 lb

Jr was 9.92 Lb

the Jr was similar as the LG 210 except scope rail  for the three position competition and an anatomical metal butt pad

all info found in Blue book

but i have no idea if that is what your looking for

That's the 64,000 question.  I too have the 12th blue book, but it does not answer the differences between the two models.

I would email Jim E and ask him if there is a difference.

When you bought it, did it come with any accessories?

My reason for asking is, that if it did come with extras, perhaps the + merely meant rifle + extras....

Perhaps the + denoted the almost new condition of the rifle, as in + quality. Like a descriptor or adjective.

I don't have jim e's email address any longer.  Please email it to me if you have it.

The "plus" is printed on the receiver, so there must of been an improvement to the gun itself.

PM sent Sonny.

I went back and looked at your pictures, and sure enough, plain as day, it says PLUS right on it.

The only thing that I came up with from rooting around in the archives is that possibly the PLUS model came with the adjustable aluminum butt plate fitted from the factory, while it was an optional add on for the standard 210 model.

These guys are talking about the differences on a German forum, and they seem to think that the PLUS means it has a dovetail machined into the front barrel block to facilitate scope mounting, but my LG210 Junior model has the dovetail machined into the barrel block and is not a PLUS model.

Might have to use Google translate.

one you need to translate the other might have the answer

my guess is the 210 plus is an upgrade to the 210

good pictures of each would more then likely show you the differences

all info was found by looking at these pictures and clicking and reading the posts

One immediate difference is apparent after looking through the pictures that Mike linked to.

The dovetail on the front barrel block on my LG210 is a blind dovetail, as in you could only slide a ring onto the dovetail from the breech end, they do not extend all the way to the barrel end of the block. They flare out and end in a definite stop.

The LG210 PLUS dovetail on the front barrel block appears to be a dovetail that is the full length of the barrel block, no stop or flare out to a blind dovetail.

As further info, my LG200 has NO dovetail whatsoever on the front barrel block.

From what I gathered:

Adjustable buttplate.

full length dovetail

Blonde beech stock.  From what I understand from Jim E, this is a very rare stock option.

Thank you everyone.  I really appreciate it.
