How did they do? Pretty good if you ask me. This gun is unique for its smooth shooting, fabulous trigger, and effortless accuracy. Great PCP rifle for Diana fans. This thing is sharp looking! Thanks for watching! -Nate
Looks very "SPA"
Also, did they not do their first PCP in 2011 with the P1000?
Yes, they did. It was the P1000. It was a "Made in Germany" PCP. Here's a (old?) link to it at AoA.

Thanks for the info. I sure got that wrong. They had the Skyhawk too.
Skyhawk, Stormrider, and Outlaw were all part of the "Sport" line, meaning they were made in China.
The P-1000 was made in Germany as part of the "Performance" line, and, then it evolved into the P-1000 Evo.
But it was short lived and did not sell well.
The P-1000 was complicated. Good, but complicated, and absolutely nothing could be done by the user. The market (specially the USA) did not take it well.
The new PCP is a refinement of the basic hammer-operated poppet valve architecture we find everywhere. What it does is to marry a regulated (Altaros) tank with a consistent poppet, and a quality barrel.
Sure recipe to produce good accuracy.
Keep well and shoot straight!
