@marflow Hi Mike, the spring that advances the magazine has sprung. It needs to be recoiled. I just haven't had any luck doing so.I would buy a new spring if I could find them. To much tension will clip a thin walled pellet like a JSB Exact. These magazines are poorly made and at 20.00 a pop it makes sense to try and fix it. Any ideas ? Thanks

forget looking parts Air Ventura handle these pistol and 3 months or so ago i asked them a parts diagram so i could order some parts

they did have a parts diagram and you guessed it no parts and that diagram they promised, crickets, they are a joke

i have never been inside one of the mags or seen any picture

let assume all of the mags are sort of made the same, take a look at this and see if it helps

@marflow Thank you Mike. Both are helpful. It's just a shame to buy something new then have to fix it.

@marflow a pellet jammed and two others were stuck behind it. that caused the spring to stretch out of shape. that a side, the gun is fantastic. i would buy it again in a skinny minute. thanks again for your help. i am teaching my grandson to shoot and  having more fun than him.

For what it’s worth, that action and magazine has been used on a lot of pistols/riflers under a lot of brands.

Artemis, SMK, Mrodair, SPA, Diana, etc.….it’s a SPA product made for Diana.

So there are a lot of magazines out there. Diana alone has marked 5 different versions using the same magazines. Chaser, Airbug, Bandit, Trailscout, Stormrider…..CP1 and I believe the Dragonfly as well...the mags can swap between them.

Would be cheaper to fix than to buy new...they want something like $18-$20 per mag.

All are a bit of a PIA as they are so tiny. Don’t remember any “trick” to them, are pretty much a spool powered by a little coil spring wrapped around the center shaft….but like you, have never found a good source of parts.

@ribbonstone thank you for the information. i have just come across some favorable comments on carm magazines in zadar croatia. they are made with a 3d printer. they make magazines for a variety of air guns. diana chaser included, 20.82  per magazine. they ship world wide. thanks again. bill

Mrodair used to have aluminum mags he had made for his CP-1's

i see them mentioned but not listed

Mrodair CP-1M Multi Shot Target Pistol (yahoo.net)

Magazine for CP2 air (CO2) pistol and variants (SMK,Victory, SPA, Artemis, Diana Chaser, Bandit,...) - Custom Magazines j.d.o.o. (carm-magazines.com)

sent an email to Mike at Mrodair to see about the mags but if i remember right, in the past you never get an answer, it's a long story

Bought them where they were SPA/Mrodair sold….still have rifles/mags….haven’t broken one yet.

Have had to take them apart...that’s not like a hobby, dropping one into a cow pie or mud puddle forces you to...but haven’t had one break (yet).
