I was rooting around in my basement workshop when I ran across this.  The case was made by my Dad, he passed in 1996.  I inherited all of his airguns, and gave most of them to nephews/nieces.  I had forgotten about this one, I haven't shot it in many years.

I took it to the range today, chronographed it and shot some paper.  then some pop cans.

First the gun, in the homemade case.

I may have a co 2 air leak.  After shooting about 15 shots I set the pistol aside for 10 or so minutes while I shot other guns.  When I came back to it the gas was gone.

Anyway, its a decent plinker.

the mk 1's and mk 2's are very nice pistols, the leak might be in the cap and would be an easy fix, some new urethane O-rings and it could be fixed

with 7 gr pellets those number would be much better and at 30ft it's a shooter

even though it is a nicely made case the pistol need a little more protection, at these in my view, that wood will eat the paint right off it

in any case a nice memory to have and shoot

take care
