I am curious if anyone knows anything about the Crosman 2300 SLE. I have come across one of these with a certificate of authenticity stating it is #11 of 100 manufactured.
Any info about this is appreciated
i found nothing the Blue Book make no notation Google has nothing
i guess if it was a limited run, it would have extra value but how much compared to the 2300S model
it would be interesting if they really sold all 100
i would buy it if the price was right but would the 2300S ever be collectable ????
@marflow ,
I found very little on it in other forums. Seems to be a collectors item. Value is high to the right collector. I inherited it but don't have any need for it. Will sell.
its value is if anyone cares
a picture or two might help
and a post over here could get you some more information
Airgun Nation the Best Airgun Site
first off take the certificate and get it out of the case and put it between two heavy flat objects and start to flatten
the case is made of solid wood or wood with paper over it
is the pistol marked i could not see
value if wood case 500.00 to 600.00 but the total number sold could make that different
a call to Crosman might be in order to get some more info
i would have thought these were offered out of the custom shop only and they might have never sold 100
it is interesting but start working on get that certificate repaired
is it collectable sure
Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.
I have a custom shop 2300 KT but do not remember the SLE. They did have a unique 2300 marketed via PA but cannot remember details.
My KT came with a 10" Lothar barrel and steel breech. Was a bit rough so needed some TLC.
