Can someone point me to someone who sells factory FWB 300S  counter-wound main springs?  I did send a message to Nikkonos in CA.

@prairie-farmer  Mr. Nick is out of the springs right now.  I'll keep checking back.  There is no hurry, as the FWB 300S U, is working fine, and I have two Anschutz SuperAirs also.  Best Regards. Ron

if you want factory parts, at the best prices buy them at FWB, the gals will take good care of you and you can use a credit card but a fax machine will be needed or was the last time i bought parts

now Waffencenter Gotha has i very good listing of parts with picture but you need a translator, like Google to help you

there prices are good but the factory is better and there is more trouble ordering for the first time buyer

there prices for old Diana parts are very good but the shipping will grab you and take the fun out of it

but Waffencenter has parts for many brands old and new and the guys do a great job, email Enrico

https://www.waffencenter-gotha.de/shop/FEINWERKBAU:.:19.html?filter_id=115

both come from Germany and DHL Germany is about as bad speed wise, as you will ever see

just some info

I'm getting ready to install counter-wound springs in a old B3. They have nothing for 300's. Got'em from a guy in Poland. Only bad review on them was another guy in Poland who sound like he dislike the guy more than the product. Got another set I going use to replace the gas ram in a Hatsan Stryker.

Got the chrony numbers and saw how the B3 shot a few days ago. When I get the time I'll change them out and see what happens.

Marflow and Tim,  Thanks for your write-ups.  I'll continue to wait for Mr. Nick.  My spring is not broken and still shoots about 560 fps or so.   But it is a 1985 spring.

but it is not A spring, it is more then likely 2 springs and being 2 spring and being short at that they would not be so prone to wearing out

and seeing as the rifle is shooting up to spec, your new spring, springs might be on a shelf for a while

Yes, I understand about the two springs joined by a "retainer ring", as I've had it apart a few times.  Basically, I want a spare ready to go if needed - or for the next owner.  I also had a Macarri at one time, but didn't like it and returned to the factory spring.
