So I thought I was getting a plain old Fenix 400 like they had pictured on the Pyramyd Air website when I ordered it. This was one of the 2 they had left in stock in .25 cal. Who here got the other one? What did you get? As you can see in the pics, I got a little surprise.  Not bad for under $300. I just hope it shoots as good as it looks. Very nice wood grain and the adjustable cheek is a plus. The only flaw so far is the uneven milling of the stock up by the breech.

Just thought I'd share.

It's an amazingly light air rifle. Shoulders nicely, very comfortable.

it appears that rifle been retired out of the Cometa lineup, which makes it a keeper

Isn't the Cometa 400 the old RWS 94 ? It was a great gun by all accounts. Popular enough at the time for Maccari to make springs for it.

The airgun of choice for former forum stalwart Anthony in Tennessee ... whose posts I really enjoyed BTW ..
