I'm not sure if I'm doing this right but I just bought my first airgun a AEA HP max 50 cal but I don't have enough money to buy a air compressor , I bought a vevor hand pump but it leaks everywhere, so can I go to a paintball gun range and have my airgun filled up there or will there air hose attachment not work with my fill probe ??
Hand pumping to 4500 psi would be a non-starter for me! Sure, you could ask at a paintball store, if they could fill it for you. It won't be free! Some places don't fill to 4500. The other problem is that you're going to have to go back for fills every 2 magazines, or so. You should have thought a little more about the support costs before you bought the gun.
Thank you for your information God bless you and your family.
Where are you at? There may be a member local to you who can help or even a local shop you're unaware of.
Ok thanks for all you information I just found a paintball range and filled it up to 4500 they was scared but I send it would be fine so everything went well so thank you for your help.
@chieftjs I live in Tennessee pigeon forge but I found a paintball range and they aired it up but they was afraid so they wanted me to fill it because they didn't trust a fill prob it worked great thanks for your help but I would like to find a airgun friend who lives near me because I'm new this is my first gun and have nowhere to shoot I'm not sure how to find someone who lives close
Glad you got it worked out. I'd make friends with the folks at the Paintball Range and maybe buy a bottle for them to fill for you.
I would contact that paintball shop and ask them if they would fill an scba tank for you. They might feel better about that and it will be much more economically viable for you. Also look and see if you have a local dive shop that could do it ? Once you have that information go on eBay and look for a good used scba cylinder. Buy one within its 15 year lifespan as that is as old of a tank as stores will fill. In other words a tank manufactured 2008 or newer. You can find them on eBay cheap and sometimes even have a current hydro test date.
Thank you for your help and information.
